Noble Announces Second Annual “Pitchin’ in the Pasture Cornhole Tournament”

Funds raised from the June event will support the organization’s mission to provide rancher education products across the region.

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 20, 2024)Noble Research Institute, the nation’s largest nonprofit agricultural research organization, will host its second annual “Pitchin’ in the Pasture Cornhole Tournament,” presented by NABHOLZ, aimed at highlighting the importance of soil to our daily lives.

The event will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 1-5 p.m., at the Ardmore Convention Center, 2401 N Rockford Rd., Ardmore, OK, 73401. This tournament is offered exclusively for corporate sponsors of the event and their employees and is closed to the general public.

Funds raised will support Noble’s rancher education courses and help make a lasting impact locally and nationally in guiding land stewards in regenerative land management.

The inaugural tournament in June 2023 exceeded its goal of raising $50,000 by nearly $5,000. With its 2024 fundraising goal of $65,000, the organization hopes to continue supporting the revitalization of US grazing lands through regenerative grazing and land management education.

“We are excited to host our second annual “Pitchin’ in the Pasture Cornhole Tournament,” and can’t say enough about the appreciation we have for our new and returning event sponsors,” said Lindsey Kidd, officer of impact giving for the Noble Research Institute. “Every dollar raised from these events helps Noble further its goal to regenerate 164 million acres of US grazing lands by 2040, through supporting the farmers and ranchers working that land.”

The 2024 “Pitchin’ in the Pasture Cornhole Tournament” is made possible by contributions from generous organizations and businesses, including Mercy, the event’s warm-up sponsor.

“One of Nabholz’s purpose statements revolves around improving the cities and towns we live in and the lives of our neighbors,” said Justin Woolverton, EVP of operations for NABHOLZ. “To that end, we align ourselves with clients that share similar missions, and we believe Noble’s mission improves the nation and impacts millions of citizens who may not even realize it. Supporting an organization like Noble is an easy decision for us, and we hope that by doing so, we help others learn about Noble’s mission and hopefully help gain more support for them. And on top of all of that, ‘Pitchin’ in the Pasture’ is one of the most fun events we have had the privilege of being a part of!”
