Zach Abney

Regenerative Ranching Advisor

Zach Abney serves as a regenerative ranching advisor at Noble Research Institute. He specializes in regenerative grazing, ultra-high stock density grazing, grazing cover crops, ranch and business management, direct-to-consumer, cow-calf, and stocker operations. Abney was a Quivira Coalition Herd Fellow and received his bachelor’s degree from Harding University. Zach owns and operates Scherler-Abney Farm & Ranch, a commercial cow/calf and farming operation in Southwest Oklahoma; RE:FARM, a direct-to-consumer brand carrying his farm’s products; RE:SUPPLY, a group of retail stores in Oklahoma and Texas; and Frontier Ranch Management, which manages ranches for absentee landowners and investment funds.

At Noble, Zach focuses on grazing management and business.
