Josie Morris

Ranch Assistant

Josie Morris serves as a course facilitator and Pasture Demonstration Facility ranch assistant at Noble Research Institute. Morris received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Arkansas and became certified to teach Noble courses in 2025. Josie was raised in ranching, growing up on her family’s cow/calf operation in Ohio, before relocating to eastern Oklahoma, where they operated on 1,200 acres with over 700 goats, cow/calf pairs and occasional stockers. Morris runs 700 hair sheep and 500 goats on approximately 2,800 acres of leased land in southern Oklahoma. She loves ranching and the idea that she can positively impact the land through good management and care of livestock.

At Noble, Josie specializes in small ruminants.
