Quinton Merrill

Quinton Merrill serves as a field technician for the 3M project. In this role, he has coordinated with project leaders to accomplish infiltration experiments at the major hub locations across Michigan, Oklahoma and Wyoming. In this role, he has been part of a team collecting over 2,000 water infiltration measurements, 522 soil moisture sensor installations, and over 1,000 soil grab samples across the site locations. Quinton has worked at Michigan State University’s Institute of Water Research since April of 2022 and holds a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and wildlife conservation biology from Michigan State University.
