Martha Anderson

Co-Investigator (Remote Sensing)

Martha Anderson is a co-investigator on the Remote Sensing module for the 3M project. In this position, she develops remote sensing maps of evapotranspiration (ET) over the 3M sites, providing information on daily vegetation water use at the sub-paddock level. These maps, extending from before the experiment (2019) to present, provide a metric of grassland ecosystem health and response to climate and grazing management over time. Dr. Anderson has been with the USDA-ARS Hydrology and Remote Sensing Lab since 2005 and holds degrees in Physics and Astrophysics.
