
Emanoella Otaviano
Emanoella Otaviano is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Noble Research Institute, where she contributes to the 3M Project. Her research focuses on plant-animal-environmental relationships to develop more efficient and sustainable grazing systems. Particularly, her work has explored pasture structure and botanical composition, ingestive behavior of grazing animals, and forage nutritive value under contrasting management strategies and species mixtures.
Otaviano earned her B.S. in Animal Science, followed by M.S. and a Ph.D. in Animal Science and Pastures from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Before joining Noble, she served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at The Ohio State University, where she collaborated on research with crop–livestock management strategies aimed at reducing environmental impacts and enhancing system resilience.
