Amanda Norton is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at the University of Wyoming. Her research on McGuire Ranch focuses on how grazing strategies influence cattle behavior and their effects on songbird nesting success and diversity. She aims to understand how rangeland management can support livestock production while enhancing biodiversity. Amanda began her doctoral studies in January 2023 and holds a bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries biology and management.
