Emergency Procedures

To report any emergency, dial 911. Immediately report any 911 call to Noble Security at 580-224-6000 to request emergency assistance.

Medical Emergency

  • CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY!
  • Immediately report any 911 call to Noble Security at 580-224-6000 to request emergency assistance.
  • Avoid leaving injured person(s) except to summon help.
  • Do not move the injured person(s).
  • Render first aid or CPR if you are trained and feel safe doing so.
  • Use universal precautions to protected yourself from blood borne pathogens.

Utility Emergency

  • For power failures, water loss or line breaks, or other such events please contact Richard Brown, Facilities Maintenance Manager, at 580-483-2840 or 580-224-6038 to report the situation.
  • If unable to reach someone at these numbers, call Noble Security at 580-224-6000 to request assistance.

Fire

  • Pull the nearest fire alarm!
  • Alert others as you evacuate.
  • Use stairwells at your nearest exit to leave the building.
  • Do not reenter the building.
  • Report to your building incident coordinators at designated meeting areas.

Suspicious Person or Situation

  • A suspicious person or situation is an individual or environment that is unknown or unfamiliar to Noble employees and/or guests and appears to be out of place on campus. This includes a visitor missing a visitor badge, a contractor who is in an area other than a work or common area, or someone who is not permitted to be on campus.

Hostile Person

  • A hostile person is someone who exhibits threatening behavior either verbally or physically.

Armed Intruder

Run

  • If there is an escape path, attempt to evacuate.
  • Leave your belongings behind.
  • Help others escape, if possible.
  • Prevent others from entering the area.
  • Call 911 when you are safe.

Hide

  • Lock and/or blockade the door.
  • Silence your cell phone.
  • Hide behind large objects.
  • Remain very quiet.

Fight

  • Attempt to incapacitate the shooter.
  • Act with physical aggression.
  • Improvise weapons.
  • Commit to your actions.

Tornado Warning

Anytime the city of Ardmore’s (73401) sirens sound or internal notification (e.g., e-mail) is given, employees should:

  • Quickly turn off equipment, including gas burners, gas heaters, etc.
  • Proceed to the nearest area of refuge Building A basement, Retreat Center lower level, Guest Farmhouse Laundry.
  • Guest staying in the Quadraplex (Quad). can call Noble Security at 580-224-6000 to assist you in refuge. 
  • If possible, stay with your incident coordinator until advised otherwise by your coordinator, so you can be accounted for.
