Cole Kelley
Field Technician
Cole Kelley is a Field Technician for the 3M project. He assists with installation, monitoring and management of a large fleet of data loggers and soil moisture sensors, completes bi-annual infiltration measurement trips to Michigan and Wyoming hub locations, collects soil samples from 3M project sites and assists with analysis of nitrate, ammonium, total carbon, and total nitrogen in collected soil samples. Kelley joined the Institute of Water Research at Michigan State University in 2022 and holds a bachelor’s degree in crop and soil sciences from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Michigan State University.
