Systems Researcher/Co-director of 3M project

Isabella Maciel serves as a co-director/principal investigator for the Metrics, Management and Monitoring (3M) project. As a co-director, she is the primary point of contact for the funding agency, overseeing research progress, budgeting, and ensuring the project meets its milestones and deliverables. She also coordinates collaboration among multiple stakeholders, including funders, institutions, and research teams. As the principal investigator for the Oklahoma hub, Maciel leads the project's scientific and technical efforts, ensuring research integrity and quality. She oversees data collection, analysis, and the overall management of the hub's scientific activities.

Previously, Maciel served as a research associate at Michigan State University. Her past research explored the fundamentals of beef cattle nutrition, food animal production, environmental safety and mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions.
