General Overview

The Dixon Water Foundation invites you to its workshop about biological capital, planned grazing, relationships between forage and grazing animals, and how to plan for drought recovery.

The workshop will feature Walt Davis and Richard Teague, Ph.D., experts in the benefits of planned grazing and the science behind it.

Walt Davis is a fifth-generation rancher who teaches, consults and writes. His experience and knowledge offer a bridge to manage your property for soil health and high animal performance.

Richard Teague, Ph.D., will be speaking about the science behind planned grazing and how it will improve your pastures and animal performance. Teague is a range ecologist, joining Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in 1991. He has practical and research experience in grazing management systems.

Payment can be made online or at the door. You can register by emailing Melissa Bookhout or calling 940-902-9815.
