Ira Parsons and Seth Pratt, 2014 Lloyd Noble Scholars in Agriculture, discuss the progress that the agricultural community has made in protecting the environment.
About the Authors
Ira Parsons is a 2014 Lloyd Noble Scholar in Agriculture from Leavenworth, Kansas, where he grew up on his family's diversified cow-calf and row-crop farming operation. He is currently a senior at Kansas State University where he is majoring in feed science and management, and minoring in animal science.
Seth Pratt is a 2014 Lloyd Noble Scholar in Agriculture from Blackfoot, Idaho. He attends the University of Idaho, majoring in agricultural economics and agricultural leadership. Seth is the fifth generation of his family on the Pratt Ranch, where he hopes to return to raise cows and kids.
