Seeking Employment FAQs

How do I apply for a position at the Noble Foundation?
Click on the position for which you are interested in applying. Click on the "Apply Now" button. This will allow you to apply using our online application and to upload any additional documents. Once you click the "Submit my Application" button on the last page of the application, your application packet will become part of the applicant pool for that position.

Can I submit a paper application?
Yes, you may. However, there are many benefits to applying online. Applications received via our online system reach our database almost instantaneously, making your application available to the hiring supervisor immediately without delay. Completing multiple applications is also much easier as application information is automatically copied forward to each new application used to apply for additional positions. However, if you are unable to apply online, you may contact nfhr@noble.org or the Human Resources Department at (580) 224-6230 or (866) 223-5810 to request a paper application.

Why am I requested to upload additional documents when I apply for some employment opportunities but not for others?
Due to the various types of positions within our organization, including different educational and experience requirements, we may need more information to ascertain who is the best qualified person for this position.

What if there are no positions of interest listed on the careers page? Can I submit a resume/application anyway?
No. We are an Affirmative Action employer therefore, we cannot accept unsolicited resumes or applications. You must apply for a position that is posted on our Web site to be considered for employment.

Won't I be considered more quickly if I call or send my CV/resume directly to the hiring supervisor?
No. Because we are an Affirmative Action employer we must follow specific application procedures. If a supervisor receives a phone call, CV/ resume, etc., they are to forward the caller or documents to the HR department for appropriate handling. All open positions have clearly stated application procedures and attempting to go around those procedures will only slow down the processing of your application.

How do I know if you received my resume/application via the online process?
The online application starts with you completing the employment application. If this is completed correctly then you move to the next step of uploading any additional documents, e.g. CV, cover letter, transcripts. If these additional documents are not uploaded successfully then you will receive a real-time, on-screen error message. When a document is not uploaded successfully, an automatic email is generated and sent to our Human Resources (HR) and Information Systems (IS) departments. Depending upon the error, a representative from the HR or IS department will follow up with you to help resolve the upload issue.

Once you complete the online application and upload any additional document(s) successfully you will receive a real-time, on-screen confirmation message that your application was submitted. You will also receive an email notification stating that your application was successfully submitted. If you would like to verify that all of your documents were uploaded successfully, you may click the "Print my Application" button to see your entire application packet exactly as seen by the hiring supervisor.

You can sign back onto the website at any time to review your application and any documents that were uploaded by going to the My Employment Applications link on the Employment home page, or going to this link: https://www.noble.org/apps/employmentapplication/myapplications.aspx.

Can I make changes to my application once it has been submitted?
Yes. Be sure to once again click the Submit my Application button after you have completed your changes.

Can I apply for additional positions without going through the whole online application process again?
Yes. You may assign your application to other open positions without having to complete the whole application again for additional positions. However, it does not automatically copy your additional documents forward to any subsequent positions. You will have to attach those for each position, as there are different requirements for the additional documents.

Can I mail my resume/CV to you even if I submitted my resume/application through the online system, just to make sure you received it?
Yes. You may email it to nfhr@noble.org or fax to (580) 224-6240.

I tried to submit my resume using the online system but the Web page indicated there was an error. What should I do?
First, make sure that your document is in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word, PDF, ASCII Text, HTML or RTF. If it is in one of the correct formats but does not upload successfully, try converting it to PDF then uploading again. This will almost always resolve the problem. However, if you still have trouble, you may send your document to nfhr@noble.org referencing the position number and your name; Human Resources will then upload your document for you.

I forgot my password, how can I get it?
On the log in page, there is a section labeled "Can't access your account?" Enter your email address and click the "Send" button. Check your Inbox to find an email with a link to reset your password.

Will I be notified if the position is filled?
Yes. You will receive an email if you are not selected for the position. If at any time you wish to check on the status of the position, you may send an email to nfhr@noble.org or call (580) 224-6230 or (866) 223-5810. You may also check the status of your application at any time by going to the "http://www.noble.org/Jobs/Application/MyApplications.aspx" link on the Employment home page, or going to this link: https://www.noble.org/apps/employmentapplication/myapplications.aspx

How can I remove myself from consideration for a position?
Go the My Employment Applications link and click the "Please remove me from consideration for this position" checkbox underneath the appropriate position.
