Description: A clover that grows best on clay or silt soils. Can tolerate moist sites. Its creeping, spreading stems can root at the nodes where they contact the soil. The Ladino form of this legume is very productive and is widely planted for wildlife. Also eaten by livestock. Can be stimulated by mowing or burning in late fall.
