Characteristics: Introduced, naturalized, annual, cool season grass to 3.0 feet. Leaf blades usually pilose; inflorescence an open panicle; spiklets with 6-11 awned florets. Flowers May-July.
Plant community type: Open uplands and bottomlands. Often abundant along roadsides and other disturbed sites.
