Agricultural Division Staff: David Annis
Annis, a soils and crops consultant in the Agricultural Division's consultation program, has been with the Noble Foundation since 2001. He began his Noble Foundation career as a soils and crops discipline assistant and then served as a young, beginning, small farm/ranch consultant. His experience is primarily in pest management, row crop production, introduced pasture, wheat, cotton, soybeans, corn and grain sorghum. Annis' responsibilities include agronomic consultation with regional farmers and agricultural producers, and demonstration and research efforts on Noble Foundation farms. He has conducted several on-farm research projects. Annis is a certified crop advisor (CCA) by the American Society of Agronomy. Before coming to the Noble Foundation, Annis worked as an area specialist for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, a research associate for the University of Arkansas Experiment Station and a research associate in the agriculture chemical industry. Annis has been involved in agricultural consultation-education-research since 1988. Annis grew up in northeast Arkansas.
