Research Farms Field Day Announced

Mark your calendars now! The Noble Foundation will be conducting a Research Farms Field Day on April 28 with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Ardmore Convention Center. This field day will provide you an opportunity to interact with Noble Foundation specialists, consultants and researchers about our latest projects and developments. The discussions will cover diverse topics, including means of enhancing stocker cattle production, increasing uniformity in beef cattle, production and utilization of novel forages, managing wildlife habitats and the development of dedicated energy crops. Benefiting regional farmers and ranchers from generation to generation

Participants will learn about:

    • improved forage production and research practices;
    • innovative livestock management;
    • switchgrass production for future biofuel opportunities;
    • Noble Foundation research and demonstration farms; and
    • wildlife management.

The Noble Foundation Research Farms Field Day 2007 is offered at no cost to the public. Transportation to tour sites and lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is requested.
