Description: The most common introduced grass of our region and adapted to a variety of soils. Its inflorescence typically has 3-5 branches and its leaves are conspicuously 2-ranked. It is a poor grass for wildlife but can be easily managed to provide good forage for cattle. Bermudagrass has caused significant habitat loss for most wildlife species in our ares.
