Dana Bowman is a former member of the U.S. Army Golden Knights
parachuting team who lost both legs during a skydiving accident
in 1994. He re-enlisted in the army nine months after the accident.
Now retired, he is a motivational speaker who stresses the importance
of perseverance and the relevance of the physically handicapped
to society and the military.

Col. Chuck Scott, ret., is an expert on the Middle East
and terrorism who was held captive for more than a year in Iran.
Scott spoke about his personal hostage experience, military career
the Middle Eastern psyche.

Dr. Mike Boehlje is an agricultural economist at Purdue
University. He shared his nationally recognized expertise on cattle
markets and beef production with the audience.

Dr. Charles Esmon, a recent inductee into the National Academy
of Sciences, holds the Lloyd Noble Chair in Cardiovascular Research
at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City. He
shared with the audience his latest research in preventing blood
poisoning, heart attacks and strokes, and how new insights in the
medical research field may help predict patient risk.

Joel Sartore originates from Oklahoma and has traveled the
globe shooting wildlife photographs for such noted magazines as
National Geographic and Life, as well as several books. His work
has also been featured in several national television shows. He
shared the trials he has endured on his quest to capture unique
images.
