Candice DeLong was the head profiler in San Francisco for the F.B.I. until her retirement in 2000. She is often referred to as a real-life Clarice Starling and a female Donnie Brasco. While with the F.B.I., DeLong was on the front lines of some of the most gripping and memorable cases, including the manhunt for the Unabomber in Lincoln, Mont. She's tailed terrorists and gone undercover as a gangster's mole. DeLong's program will offer a "day-in-the-life" glimpse of her work as a field profiler and recount the obstacles she faced as a woman and as a fledgling agent.

As the long-time host of the Emmy award-winning National Geographic Explorer TV series, Boyd Matson had the envious job of traveling to exotic locations and joining thrilling expeditions. He has rappelled into sinkholes, climbed mountains and been bitten by more snakes than he cares to count. In doing so, he helped us feel what it was like to be there. He is currently the host of a new National Geographic series airing on PBS called Wild Chronicles, offering rare access and in-depth reporting on the state of the natural world. In an engaging presentation, Matson shares the lessons he has learned through calculated and seat-of-the-pants risktaking over his career reporting for National Geographic in a variety of challenging and charged environments.
