Free Noble Foundation Agricultural Division Event is Open to the Public
Faced with the current high cost of fertilizer, many agriculture producers
are asking themselves, "Am I getting the most out of my fertilizer dollars?"
To help farmers and ranchers answer "yes" to that question, the Noble
Foundation's Agricultural Division is offering a no-cost public seminar –
"Fertilizing for Profit."
The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Kruse
Auditorium on the Noble Foundation’s campus at 2510 Sam Noble Parkway
in Ardmore. Check-in will begin at 12:45 p.m. Attendees should pre-register.
Agricultural Division staff specialists will cover a wide range of topics,
including:
- soil testing,
- pH and liming,
- nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium,
- secondary and micronutrients,
- non-traditional products and fertilizer myths,
- benefits of fertilizing by a soil test.
Questions and a discussion session will follow the presentations, and handout
materials will be available.
For more information or to pre-register for the seminar, call Melissa Castleman
at (580) 224-6411.
