The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation will host its 12th Annual White-tailed Deer Management Workshop for deer managers from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Pavilion on Noble's Ardmore campus.
Registration is $25 and includes lunch and dinner. Experts from Noble Foundation, as well as other state organizations, will discuss deer biology, habitat, food habits, population management, state programs, law enforcement, antler development and deer management associations.
This year's program will also include a new segment that will consist of several workstations that highlight deer food plant identification, how to age deer, and how to measure and score antlers. Participants will divide into groups and visit each station.
