The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Inc.   Noble Foundation Agricultural Division Announces New Employees
 

Three new employees recently joined the Noble Foundation's Agricultural Division – Ron Abner, John Guretzky and Job Springer.

"We are pleased to have identified such outstanding individuals for these needed positions," said Wadell Altom, Agricultural Division director. "It's good to have them as part of the Ag Division."

• Ron Abner, research assistant. Abner came to Noble in May after managing several ranches in both Texas and Oklahoma. He has a bachelor of science in animal science from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, and also did graduate work in animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station. Abner is originally from Durant, Okla.

• Dr. John Guretzky, research agronomist. Guretzky joined Noble in July. His previous position was with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Champaign, Illinois, as a research ecologist. Guretzky received his bachelor of science in natural resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his Ph.D. in agronomy from Iowa State University in Ames. His responsibilities at Noble will include developing and documenting best management practices for the establishment, production and management of forages and the Noble's forage and crop variety testing programs. Guretzky hails from West Point, Neb.

• Job Springer, agricultural economist. Springer came to Noble in May after completing his master of science in agribusiness economics at Kansas State University in Manhattan, where he also earned his bachelor of science in agricultural economics. Springer's areas of interest include farm taxation, marketing, financial budgets and strategic planning. He was raised in southeast Kansas.
