Vietnamese Delegation Tours Noble Foundation

ARDMORE, Okla. — A delegation of Vietnamese agriculture and rural development officials visited the Noble Foundation in Ardmore on July 25. The visit to the Foundation was part of a week-long stay in the United States during which the officials studied issues related to implementing the U.S.-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement.

"We were pleased to host a delegation of Vietnamese dignitaries from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development," said Larry Pulliam, executive vice president of the Foundation. "They visited the Foundation's farms, labs and greenhouses during their all-day tour."

The visitors learned about agriculture in southern Oklahoma by viewing the practical application of proper farming techniques on the Foundation's farms and by seeing the technical aspects in the Foundation's research facilities, Pulliam added.

The visit was coordinated by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, in conjunction with the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council, to further federal efforts to normalize relations between the United States and Vietnam.
