The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine Alumni Association Research Fund Dinner at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum was a black-tie affair. Following a cocktail reception and seated dinner, a presentation ceremony introduced the night's honorees, Carl Edwards, Dr. Gordon H. Deckert and the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation.
School Fund
The Heart of the Arts benefit for Western Village Academy, Integris Health's charter school, was held in the Civic Center Hall of Mirrors. The event was hosted by Integris Foundation's Young Philanthropists, and Geoff Potts was chairman. Guests were treated to tasty food, mock casino games, an auction and dancing.
Once Over Easy
The 24th annual omelet party benefit, dubbed bal au MoulEGG Rouge, was held at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center. Catherine Lawrence was chairman of the fund-raiser for the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Lawrence's co-chairman for the event was Robin Richardson. The cleverly decorated, fun, energized evening featured omelets prepared by local chefs, an art raffle and dancing to the music of Banana Seat.
Historical Significance
A Preservation Oklahoma reception featured the announcement of the 15th annual List of Oklahoma's Most Endangered Places. The event was held in the Great Hall at the Oklahoma Heritage Museum. Preservation Oklahoma is a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage the preservation of Oklahoma's historic places.
