The second installment in The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation 2007-2008 Public Lectures in Science series will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kruse Auditorium on the Noble Foundation's Ardmore campus.

Thursday's lecture will be made by Susan Postawko, Ph.D., professor of meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, and will provide an overview of climate change on earth and other planets. Postawko is a planetary scientist who has been studying climate change for almost 30 years.

During her presentation, Postawko will draw from her extensive research experience and attempt to answer many important questions, such as "What is happening to our planet?" "What can we do about it?" and "How will climate change impact our lives?"

The lecture is open to the public and offered at no cost by the Noble Foundation. A reception will follow the presentation.
