The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, along with the Texas Cooperative Extension, will host the North Central Texas Cattle Conference from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10, at the Gainesville Livestock Market. The conference, which is for cattle producers, is a joint educational program by the Noble Foundation and the Texas Cooperative Extension Service in Collin, Cooke, Fannin and Grayson counties. Conference participants will have an opportunity to hear about the Farm Service Agency's Cattle Program and current issues impacting agricultural operations, including the utilization of lower quality forage this winter and marketing cattle through the sale barn. Speakers at the conference include Clay Wright, livestock consultant with the Noble Foundation, Chance Fenoglio, executive director with the Farm Service Agency in Cooke County, and Ron Gill, Ph.D., livestock specialist with the Texas Cooperative Extension. The conference will be followed by the 4th Annual Red River Regional Replacement Sale at noon. The Gainesville Livestock Market is located at 1920 Refinery Road, Gainesville, Texas.
