AKTA Purifier

The lab is well-equipped with standard equipment for molecular biology, and protein expression/purification including two AKTA Purifiers and a DynaPro-LSR Dynamic Light Scattering instrument. We have an R-AXIS IV++ detector with a RU-H3R rotating anode X-ray generator and X-stream cryosystem. This system is also equipped with an inverted Phi axis to facilitate screening of frozen crystals. We have several Linux workstations and a Silicon Graphics Fuel workstation for graphical work and for computational work in the lab.
