The Forage Improvement Division of the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Inc. is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Malay Saha to work in a DOE funded switchgrass project. The successful candidate will mainly work on molecular markers, genetic linkage mapping, evaluation of populations in field experiments, QTL analysis and association mapping. This is a project which is funded annually with extensions up to three years contingent on performance and on continued funding by the DOE.

Completion of a PhD degree in a plant science/molecular genetics is required. Strong communications skills, experience in genotyping with molecular markers using high-throughput system, and familiarity with database searches are highly advantageous. Minimum starting salaries will be $41,200/year with excellent benefits.
