The Administrative Division of the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Inc., Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a systems administrator. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in systems administration, including Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMware and network attached storage devices. A detailed knowledge of the Microsoft networking environment is required. Linux/Unix experience is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical, team working and communications skills.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer, MIS or related field is required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining network server and storage systems; perform routine operation and maintenance of enterprise software systems; coordinates and performs operating system installations and upgrades; maintains end-user environment including accounts, profiles/policy and security; prepares and maintains documentation of routine tasks associated with enterprise hardware and software operations.
MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Enterprise Server Support – 40%
• Configure, install and maintain enterprise server systems
• Operating systems (Windows, Linux and VMware)
• Service packs and other system software
• Resource monitoring systems
• Configure and maintain storage systems
• Network Attached Storage devices
• Server based RAID systems
• Operate and maintain enterprise backup and DR systems
• Implement daily/weekly/monthly backup policy
• Manage media pool(s)
• Routine test and verification of archival backups
• Update server-level disaster recovery backups
• Conduct pre-production test and verification
• Resolve escalated support issues as assigned
• Provide emergency support for all enterprise-level hardware
• Documents server environment (configuration and operation)
Enterprise Software Systems – 40%
• Operate and maintain corporate email system
• Install/configure/maintain enterprise database systems
• Install/configure/maintain automated installation systems
• Documents software environment (configuration and operation)
End-user Environment – 20%
• Manage user accounts
• Implement and maintain end-user policies and profiles
• Implement user-level file and resource security
ASSOCIATED DUTIES: other tasks as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Supervision Received By the Director of Information Systems.
Supervision Given: None.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
Experience: 5+ years.
Licenses/Certification/Registration: MCP or MCSE preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
1. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
2. Detailed knowledge of network operating systems (NT, Unix, etc.).
3. Detailed knowledge of enterprise software systems.
4. General knowledge of networking hardware and standards.
5. Broad knowledge of industry standards and practices.

Physical Requirements:

Mathematics: College level.
Memory: Must be able to recall and complete complex technical procedures.
Language: Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Reasoning: Ability to apply basic principles of logical reasoning.
