Characteristics: Introduced, naturalized, annual, cool season forb to 1.0 feet. Stems erect or decumbent, usually much branched; leaves alternate, pinnately trifoliolate compound, stipulate; leaflets 3, hairless to sparsely hairy; inflorescence is a nearly round head, usually 5-18 flowered, usually less than 0.4 inch long; flowers usually yellowish, standard not striate. Flowers May-September.
Plant community type: Open areas. Frequently occurs along roadsides, in lawns, etc.
