March 27 - Pecan Workshop
This will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Kruse Auditorium on the Noble Foundation campus. The topic in March will be pecan production. There is no registration fee.

March 25 - Goat Producer's Spring Meeting
Presented by the Jack County Extension Service and sponsored by the North Central Texas Meat Goat Association. Dr. Rick Machen, Extension Livestock Specialist, will discuss "Internal Parasites - Are You Prepared?" and Jannette Wood, President of the NCTMGA will discuss "Goat Herd Management". March 26 - General Pesticide Applicator License Testing
General pesticide applicator license testing is conducted by TDA in Wichita Falls on the fourth Wednesday of every other month throughout 2008. The next date for general pesticide applicator testing will be March 26, 2008 at the Wichita County Extension office which is located on the second floor of the County Courthouse Annex at 600 Scott Street (corner of 6th and Scott streets) in downtown Wichita Falls.
March 27 - Hay, Beef and Forage Day
This annual multi-county event will be at the Young County Arena in Graham, TX from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Speakers include Stan Beavers, Texas A&M Extension Economist, Buddy Faries, Texas A&M Extension Veterinarian, and Jim Johnson, Noble Foundation Soil and Crop Consultant. April 1 - Alternatives in Nitrogen Management
Co-Sponsored by OSU Extension and Jefferson County Conservation District this breakfast meeting will be held at Nikki's Café in Waurika at 7 a.m. Items discussed will be: Soil Testing, N-Rich Strips, Increasing the Sustainability of Oklahoma Cropping Systems Using Cover Crops, and Legumes, Costs per Seeding vs. Nitrogen Yield. Speakers will be Dr. Mark Gregory, Clint Norton and Mike Jeffcoat.
April 3 - 23rd Annual Texoma Agricultural Seminar
Sponsored by the Clay Beef Committee and the Texas AgriLife Extension Service from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Clay County Pioneer Hall in Henrietta, Texas. Topics include "How Winter Feeding Program Relates to Cow Fertility," "Brush Management Effects on Wildlife Habitat" and "Market Opportunities for Cow/Calf Producers."
