Agricultural Division Staff: Steve Swigert
Swigert is an agricultural consultant in the Agricultural Division’s consultation program, where he serves as an agricultural economist. He assists regional farmers, ranchers and natural resource stewards to achieve their goals. His specific areas of interest are working with producers on financial recordkeeping and analysis, marketing, information systems and strategic planning. Before coming to the Noble Foundation, Swigert managed a purebred beef cattle operation and a 6,000-head heifer operation for the Braum's Corporation. He also worked as a financial analyst for the Farm Credit System in Missouri. Swigert is a member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, National Cattlemen's Beef Association and Missouri Academy of Science.
He was raised on a family farm in Missouri, where they had row crops, beef cattle and hogs.
