Agricultural Division Staff: Job Springer
Springer is an agricultural consultant in the Agricultural Division's consultation program, where he serves as an agricultural economist. He assists regional farmers, ranchers and natural resource stewards to achieve their goals. His specific areas of interest include farm taxation, marketing, financial budgets and strategic planning. Springer joined the Noble Foundation in 2006. While pursuing his master's degree, he worked as a research assistant at Kansas State University. Springer's research included farm equipment price analysis and the examination of tax expenditure limitation laws. Springer was raised in southeast Kansas, where he worked on his family's farm and ranches. Their operations included cow-calf, feeder cattle and a variety of crops such as alfalfa, grain sorghum, wheat and soybeans.
