Springer joined the Noble Foundation in spring 2006. While pursuing his master's degree, he worked as a research assistant at Kansas State University. Springer's research included farm equipment price analysis and the examination of tax expenditure limitation laws. Springer is interested in helping farmers, ranchers and natural resource stewards achieve their goals. His specific areas of interest include farm taxation, marketing, financial budgets and strategic planning. Springer was raised in southeast Kansas, where he worked on his family's farm and ranches. Their operations included cow-calf, feeder cattle and a variety of crops such as alfalfa, grain sorghum, wheat and soybeans. Online publications include:
