Steven Smith serves as the wildlife and fisheries specialist for the NF-4 consulting team and also works with NF-3 cooperators.

Before arriving at the Noble Foundation, Smith worked for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission as a wildlife biologist in southwest Nebraska for two years. His duties included the management of 25,000 acres on 19 wildlife management areas, surveys, depredation concerns and wildlife disease cases.

He is a member of The Wildlife Society, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Smith was born and raised on a small farm west of Yukon, Okla. He now lives in Ardmore, Okla.
