Guretzky joined the Noble Foundation in July 2006. He maintains knowledge of the ecology and management of temperate pasture and native range systems. His responsibilities include developing and documenting best management practices for the establishment, production and management of forages and Noble's crop variety testing programs. Guretzky's current research interests include the establishment and maintenance of legumes in pasture and the restoration and management of native range for wildlife and livestock production.

Before coming to the Noble Foundation, Guretzky served as a research ecologist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Champaign, Ill., working on issues regarding the maintenance and restoration of military lands.

He has been a member of the American Society of Agronomy and Crop Science Society of America since 1999.

Guretzky hails from West Point, Neb.
