Gaskamp interned with the Noble Foundation in 2004. He joined the Agricultural Division full time in 2007 as an ag research assistant. His experience is primarily in wildlife research, sampling and data collection, working specifically with white-tailed deer, feral hogs, Rio Grande turkey, bobwhite quail and largemouth bass. Some of his professional interests include wildlife ecology and management, habitat enhancement and natural resource conservation.

Before coming to the Noble Foundation, Gaskamp worked as an independent ranch management consultant in the Brazos Valley and as a hunting guide at the King Ranch. Gaskamp grew up near Brenham, Texas.
