Objective: To ensure the proper storage, handling, and application of pesticides (which include parasiticides, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and nematicides) and fertilizers. 8.1 Pesticide Receiving
2. When pesticides are received, update the Pesticide Inventory and Use Record (Form 208).
2. Ensure that storage facilities are kept clean, dry, well-ventilated, and locked. 3. Keep all pesticides away from feedstuffs at all times. 4. Clean up all spills immediately.
2. When applying paraciticides to animals, follow label directions. 3. Before parasiticides are used on animals, record the treatment in the Prevention and Treatment Record (Form 103). 4. Before pesticide/herbicide use on land, update the Pesticide Inventory and Use Record (Form 208). 5. As soon as possible, transfer the information from the Prevention and Treatment Record (Form 103) to the Individual Animal Treatment Record (Form 104) for each animal treated.
