All applicants need to write a personal letter describing 1) your involvement in agriculture, including any responsibilities on your family's property, 2) your goals- what you plan to be involved in five years from now, 3) why you desire to attend AgVenture 2006, 4) how you believe AgVenture will help you reach your goals, and 5) what you believe will be the important issues facing agriculture in the next decade.

Approximately 20 high school students with a demonstrated interest in
agriculture will be selected to participate, (applicants must have completed
their sophomore year prior to AgVenture 2006 to be eligible for participation.)
Applicants will be notified of the committee's decisions by May 1 May
10.
Participants must live or go to school in the following counties:
Oklahoma Atoka, Bryan, Caddo, Canadian, Carter, Choctaw, Cleveland, Coal, Comanche, Cotton, Garvin, Grady, Hughes, Jefferson, Johnston, Lincoln, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, Pittsburg, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Pushmataha, Seminole, Stephens, Tillman
Texas Archer, Clay, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Jack, Lamar, Montague, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, Wichita, Wise
Students and staff will be housed at the Noble Foundation Conference Center. All meals and transportation will be provided. There is no fee, but selected participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from AgVenture 2006.
